Vintage Vaillancourt Folk Art Father Christmas Santa 1990 - USA. Vaillancourt Folk Art, founded 1984, Sutton MA, is known for iconic chalk ware Santas. The cherished pieces are collected worldwide due to the high quality of detail and workmanship. This Winter season Santa's helper, designed by Judi Vaillancourt, is hand crafted from heirloom chocolate molds, and hand painted with artisan oil paints and glaze. The blue-eyed Santa wears green mittens, a gold sack and bears switches in his right hand for naughty children. The mold #107 was copyrighted 1985; this Santa is #1060 made in 1990 as seen in picture gallery. A collectible Santa figurine to cherish and pass on for generations.
