This is a stunning and rare piece. A magnificent green base compliments the rich sienna monkeys and pale pink glaze of the peaches. Ornate flambe majolica in a sancai pallet. Large and heavy. Bottom is marked with the number "2". Beautiful condition, with no noted flaws with the exception of a few chips on the under rim of the lid, and scuff to the bottom of the feet (see photos).
