Victorian Era Chess/Game Compendium

19th century Victorian-era antique compendium game set in burled walnut case. It contains 32 hand carved wooden chess pieces, 29 hand carved tan and black checkers, 39 black walnut and bone double-eight dominoes, rare suit of 42 playing cards in lidded trays, and four wooden hand carved coin cups. Designed for the aristocracy, the set of classic games played in the period is in good condition. Some of the trim pieces on are missing and some are in the box and need to be glued on. The hardware handle tops of the four card cases are missing, as is the key to the exterior box. The box is 12” W x 7.25” H x 9” D, weight 8.51 pounds.
