The unit provides 42 MHz of tuning bandwidth and 1680 selectable frequencies. Up to 16 channels can work together, and six user-programmable banks make it easy to store preferred setups for different venues or bands. With a line-of-sight range that can reach 100 meters, musicians can move freely across large stages without dropouts or noise.

On the front panel, an OLED display presents signal strength, audio levels, and menu navigation in bright detail that remains readable under stage lights. Pairing the transmitter with a compatible G4 bodypack takes only seconds thanks to infrared synchronization, a feature that speeds up changeovers during festivals or multi-band nights.

Dual XLR and 1/4-inch combo inputs accept balanced sources from a monitor console, while a dedicated headphone jack lets an engineer listen directly for a last-minute check. An Ethernet port connects to Sennheiser’s Wireless Systems Manager software, allowing broader frequency coordination and remote monitoring over a network.

The metal housing is tough enough for touring schedules, and the half-rack form factor saves space in a portable flight case or a fixed install. Sennheiser includes a GA 3 rackmount kit and a 12 V power supply, so the transmitter can go straight into service on day one.
