MSA SmoothDome® Yellow Polyethylene Hard Cap is lightweight and offers comfortable head protection from small falling objects. Cap features smooth crown for easy use of welding equipment and is slotted for use with MSA accessories. Cap features Fas-Trac® 4-Point ratchet suspension and meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Class E and CSA Z94.1-2015 Class E standards. It is used in food processes, asbestos abatement and painting. MSA Vanguard Type II protective helmets can be used if lateral protection is desired. Do not mix suspension and helmet size. Use only MSA suspensions on a MSA helmet. Failure to comply will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death. V-Gard® caps are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side or rear.
