This is a beautiful example of the T.V. Lamps that were REQUIRED to be on every television in the 50’s. “Watching without a lamp would damage your eyes” , according to my grandmother. This was not the original we had (ours was a leopard with a red shade) but this one has enjoyed a prominent place for years on the 1950’s upright radio that belonged to my grandparents. There are small imperfections on the shade but no chips or cracks on the horse, plus the clock motor still works. The venetian shade just screams mid-century. Height is 21.5” from table to top of finneal.
