The JBL CONTROL-26C is a pair of ceiling speakers created for places that need reliable audio without extra clutter. Restaurants, bars, offices, and retail spaces can mount the speakers flush in the ceiling and keep floors and walls clear for décor or foot traffic. Inside each enclosure you will find a woofer that measures 6.5 inches partnered with a titanium-coated tweeter that measures 0.75 inches. This combination reproduces background playlists with warmth and keeps spoken word easy to understand. A 110-degree coverage pattern spreads sound widely, so installers often need fewer speakers to fill a room.
The CONTROL-26C handles up to 150 watts of program power and presents a 16-ohm load, which is convenient when several speakers must be wired in parallel to a single amplifier channel. JBL includes SonicGuard circuitry that reduces the risk of damage when unexpected peaks occur, allowing a venue to run higher volume levels with confidence.
Installation is straightforward. A built-in back can and included tile rails let contractors mount the speaker in standard drop ceilings or drywall.
