J Dilla "Donuts (Club Edition)" (USED)

This is an interesting one. This is a 2xLP Club Edition variant Originally released in 2006. This version is a reissue that was released exclusively for members of the Vinyl Me, Please record subscription service. It was pressed on 180 gram clear vinyl and issued in a gatefold jacket. Comparatively, subscribers initially received the album with one of four different label designs. Each version was individually numbered in silver foil on the back cover. The interior of the gatefold also contains an excerpt from the J. Dilla 33 1/3 Series. This version is a mispress because some copies were defectively pressed with a "whoosh" sound on tracks A1 and A2. To correct this issue, Vinyl Me, Please subsequently provided recipients of this defective copy with a replacement 12" with sides A and B (which can be identified by RE in the runout grooves) in April of 2015. After the mispress was discovered Vinyl Me, Please held up the last portion of shipments and sent out a corrected version, J Dilla - Donuts, which was also sold in the archives. Because the tracklist on the defective 12" is the same as that of the replacement, the tracklist on this page only shows the album's tracklist, which corresponds to the intended 2x12" format.

This has the "Whoosh" and the replacement vinyl (1 of 2) so overall you get 3xLP (2-Disc 1 and 1-Disc 2) including the letter from the label on the replacement copy.
