Details: Slugs and snails are deterred from crossing GONZO Copper Stopper Barrier Tape as their slime secretions react with the copper surface providing them with an unpleasant sensation. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: This product acts as a barrier to movement by slugs and snails. Tear off the paper backing from the Copper Stopper. Apply to clean, dry surfaces in areas that are prone to slug and snail infestations such as; greenhouse benches, raised flower beds, flower boxes, trees, vines, potted and container plants. Copper Stopper may be nailed to wood surfaces if desired. Do not leave gaps in the tape as these pests may find their way through openings not protected. Do not allow plants or other objects to bridge Copper Stopper as slugs and snails may cross. Areas that have been enclosed by the Copper Stopper may inadvertently trap these pests. Hand removal or treatment of the enclosed area using baits may be necessary until area is free of slugs and snails.
