The Axis 01708-001 is a mini dome network camera that captures 4-megapixel video and fits easily into spaces where unobtrusive monitoring matters.
Its imaging sensor teams with a 131 degree horizontal field of view to present sharp, detailed scenes, even when lighting shifts throughout the day. An automatic IR-cut filter switches the camera between daytime color and nighttime monochrome, so coverage stays consistent twenty-four hours a day without manual intervention.
The housing carries an IK08 vandal-resistant rating. This level of protection allows the camera to withstand attempts at tampering in retail aisles, hotel lobbies, office corridors, or any other public area where equipment can be within reach.
Installation remains straightforward because Power over Ethernet sends data and power through one cable. Once mounted, digital pan, tilt, and zoom let staff adjust viewing zones through software rather than physically climbing a ladder.
