Downhole Electronics Repairs

The harsh environments of downhole well completion can be tough on electronics. Failures can be high due to the severe temperatures they are subject to. We carry out repairs and servicing for our customers downhole fleet of electronics.

As part of the repair process, our experienced engineers carry out fault finding and debug services. Our rework team then carry out any necessary repairs or manufacture.

In some cases, new PCB’s are required to successfully repair a unit. However, the majority of cases there are component failures which simply require replacement parts.

Once the debug and repair is carried out, all units go through a rigorous ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) to ensure full functionality and performance. We have a test rig onsite which is replicant of the final application.

Each unit is tested at 175°C+ using our high temperature test ovens.
